It used to be that Bluetooth only dominated the mobile phone industry. But now, this advanced technology is already being used in hearing aids allowing wireless communication among people. And not only that because the technology also helps people suffering from hearing loss regain their sense of hearing in the most comfortable manner.

With this technology, people with hearing problems can conveniently hear and talk clearly on their mobile phones. This has led several companies to develop Bluetooth capable hearing aids such as the Phonak Smartlink, Oticon Epoq, Acuris Siemens and Bernafron Xtreme. If this isn’t good news, what else is?

It's the best news in the history of hearing aids in my opinion, The tech is new to HA's so still a little primitive but it opens the door to much better things in future.

I wonder when business and public areas will begin to realize that the old loop systems and "T" switches may become a thing of the past.
