Hi,I thought i would share my dealings regarding hearing aid industry with everybody.
Ive had a hearing loss for a few years now and have looked around for decent aids and even been to NHS (they were rubbish). Ive tried a few aids like phonak exelia which was good, the resound dot which wasnt as good - kept screeching. But finally the oticon epoq seemed to hit the nail on the head. the sound was really good and no distortion, very comfortable too.
I called a few companies for hearing tests and the prices really varied. I found clickhearing, blackminster and affordable to have similar prices.
In the end i went for Affordable because they were very professional, friendly

and never once was there any pressure to buy an aid. Also, their packages were really flexible. I chose to have a 5 year warranty, 5 years free batteries,Free aftercare and saved several hundreds.I dont see why i should end up paying silly prices. I bought the aids in early november and not once have i needed further tweaks.
I have recommended them to my friends and my mother in law.
Have a look at their site
