Over the last twelve months or so I have noticed I have been waking up with extremely wet ear canals , to such a degree , the pillow is even damp .Please no toilet training jokes , I think I`m past that stage of my life .I do wear open-fit hearing aids and before that , normal ear molds .I do try not to poke cotton buds in my ears but find this is the only way to soak up the wetness. I have tried ignoring the problem but it tends to cause irritation to my ear canal when I`m wearing my aids . Any ideas out there ?? Huh

I have mentionned it to my audiologist and didn`t much in the way of sympathy or advice . It must be something to do with the hearing aids but wearing open fit`s must cause less moisture than standard ear molds by the very fact that they allow air to pass through to my ear drums
