News: Attention all users. There has recently been a mishap which caused many users accounts to be deleted or set to Guest, but keeping all posts in tact. If your account was deleted, you must re-register. For all current posts with deleted accounts, they will say they were posted by Guest. Also, it seems all post counts have been reset. Dear Affordable Hearing Care,

I first had a hearing aid in the early 1970s and since then have had 
many aids both analogue and digital from quite a few Hearing aid 
suppliers. This January I realised that I needed an aid with wireless 
communication with my mobile phone. Having seen your very reasonable 
prices for aids on the internet I contacted you and you audiologist 
Haden came to see me. After testing my hearing he thought the phonak 
Exelia would be suitable for my lifestyle and I tried it out. 
Unfortunately it proved not to be powerful enough for my hearing loss. 
The only alternative at the time was the Naida V. I tried this too but 
was not really happy as I knew it was an inferior aid to the Exelia. 
After much thought I decided not to buy it but wait for another aid to 
be introduced. Two weeks later phonak announced the Naida IX giving me 
everything I wanted and I bought it.

In the past with other firms that was it.  Once I had bought the aid 
they might do one further adjustment but they didn't really want to 
know. How different Affordable Hearing Care was. You really did care 
that it was programmed exactly right for my needs and after several 
visits it is now giving me everything I want from and aid. Would you 
please pass on to Haden my grateful thanks for the time and patience 
he spent getting everything right.
