News: Attention all users. There has recently been a mishap which caused many users accounts to be deleted or set to Guest, but keeping all posts in tact. My wife has just started wearing a siemens reflex m model xv66931 after years of having various gromits fitted. Her confidence is low at present and i wondered if anyone could help? she really enjoys music but cannot find any headphones that works with the hearing aid. Can anyone recommend headphones or do we have to purchase a different type of hearing aid.

The NHS Siemens Reflex was replaced from 01 August 2010 by the NHS Siemens Impact.  The Impact is bluetooth-enabled.   You need to ask your Audiology Dept for the upgrade to Impact.   Fantastic for listening to audio output from music systems and mp3 players. 

She should also ensure that a dedicated Music programme is activated on the Impact aids.
